Non-indexed CAD/CAM Ti-base for IH 2.42 - clean collar, 1-4 mm GH, screw-retained restorations
Product Description
The Surcam Ti-Base Rotational – Prime Coating is a non-indexed (rotational) titanium base for custom CAD/CAM restorations on Internal Hex 2.42 mm implants. Ideal for splinted/bridge cases and angulated screw-channel designs, the rotational interface allows free orientation of the restoration while the Prime-coated transmucosal collar provides a smooth, tissue-friendly finish. Manufactured from Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), it supports durable adhesion to zirconia/composite and reliable screw-retained delivery.
Includes: 1× Prime Ti-Base Abutment, 1× Prosthetic Screw.
Benefits
-
Rotational (non-indexed) — Free orientation for multi-unit/splinted or ASC workflows.
-
Prime-coated collar — Smooth transmucosal surface for cleansability and soft-tissue friendliness.
-
Digital-ready — Compatible with common CAD/CAM libraries for efficient chairside/lab fabrication.
-
Strong bond interface — Micro-retentive Ti geometry supports durable cementation to zirconia/PMMA.
-
Multiple gingival heights — 1, 2, 3, 4 mm to match tissue thickness and emergence needs.
-
Grade 5 titanium — High strength, precision fit, and long-term stability.

FAQs
What does “rotational (non-indexed)” mean?
It has no anti-rotation index, allowing free orientation—ideal for splinted bridges or when using angulated screw channels.
When should I choose rotational vs. anti-rotational?
Use rotational for multi-unit/splinted cases or when orientation freedom is needed. Choose anti-rotational for single-unit restorations requiring indexing.
Which implant systems are compatible?
Internal Hex 2.42 mm families including Alpha Bio®, Zimmer®, MIS®, Adin®, Implant Direct®, AB Dental®—always verify interface prior to use.
How do I select the gingival height?
Match 1–4 mm GH to tissue thickness and desired emergence; confirm clinically/radiographically.
What materials can be bonded to the Ti-base?
Typically zirconia, hybrid composite/PMMA, or PEEK per material manufacturer IFU using MDP-based primers/cements.
What torque should I apply to the prosthetic screw?
Follow the implant system IFU for IH 2.42 torque values; do not exceed manufacturer recommendations.
