The Surcam Long Digital Scan Body is a precision Ti-6Al-4V scan abutment engineered to enhance intraoral scanning where restorative platforms sit deep subgingival or in thick soft tissue. The increased vertical height improves scanner visibility and landmark detection, helping CAD software register implant position, depth, and orientation reliably. Delivered with a prosthetic screw for stable seating during scanning. Use with the appropriate digital libraries and follow your implant system IFU for torque/driver and sterilization.

How tight should I fasten it and can it be sterilized?

Follow your implant system IFU for driver type and (low) torque used during scanning. If supplied non-sterile, clean and steam-sterilize per IFU before use.
